Hello INTRUDN !
I did the same after the summer season was over,
took the sissy of.
Here is what I did
First made to peases of brass about 10cm long and
drilled a hole in the bottom, fixt the hole for
M8 and used the same bults.Then a hole 15mm up on the pease M8. At this time the rails are stuck
with the fender. So it is more stabel.
Next step was to do the nice thing to cover it up with, I started with a big pease of brass again
and worked with it for weeks. Dont do it again.
I drilled two straigt 5mm hole in it, and made a drillgig so the holes in the first do brasspeases
would fit from the top. Then I fixt them together with m3 stopskrews.
Sorry for my english, it is a hell to write things like this.
For the moment it is on a company for chroming.
If you want a send you pictures
of it later when i got the pease back.
Because I got a digital camera so it want take long.
